Re: January 11, 2024 Meeting of the Private Colleges and Universities Authority
In order to comply with O.C.G.A. § 50-14-1, we are hereby notifying you that the Private Colleges and Universities Authority (the “Authority”) will hold an in-person meeting at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at the offices of Alston & Bird LLP, located at One Atlantic Center, 1201 West Peachtree Street, Atlanta, Georgia 30309.
Any persons attending the meeting shall state that they are there to attend the meeting of the Authority.
At this meeting, the Authority will consider the following: (i) exchange of the Authority’s Fixed Rate Bonds, Series 2023B, for the benefit of Emory University; (ii) amendment of 2013 Bonds for the benefit of The Corporation of Mercer University to modify current mandatory tender date from February 1, 2024 to May 1, 2024; (iii) issuance of bonds for the benefit of The Corporation of Mercer University in the aggregate principal amount not to exceed $70,000,000; (iv) approval of the Minutes from the August 3, 2023 meeting of the Authority; (v) treasurer’s report and (vi) other business of the Authority.
